Dino offers three plans: a generous free tier for personal projects, a Pro plan for professional developers, and a Team plan for collaborative teams.
Free Plan
Dino’s free plan includes full coding assistance with your own API keys. No credit card required.
What’s included:
- Smart coding assistance
- Diff review with inline comments and selective reverts
- Bring your own API key from any provider
- Chat history (search, rename, resume)
- Rich markdown and LaTeX rendering
- Copy as Markdown / JSON
Limits:
- 1 Dino tab per workspace
- Light daily usage
- No conversation branching
- No editing past messages
- No file/image attachments
- No early access to new features
The free plan is ideal for trying Dino out, working on personal projects, or occasional use. Pair it with a coding plan from a provider like MiniMax, Z.ai, or Moonshot for a near-zero cost daily workflow.
Pro Plan — $20/month
For professional developers who use Dino as part of their daily workflow.
Everything in Free, plus:
- Unlimited daily usage
- Unlimited Dino tabs per workspace
- Conversation branching and rewind
- Edit past messages
- File and image attachments
- Early access to new features
The Pro plan unlocks Dino’s full power: explore multiple directions with branching conversations, attach screenshots and files for richer context, and work across several tasks simultaneously with multiple tabs. Each tab is like having its own feature branch — all changes are isolated in memory until you apply them.
Team Plan — $30/seat/month
For teams that want centralized billing and management.
Everything in Pro, plus:
- Centralized billing for all seats
- Team management and member provisioning

FAQ
Do I need a Pro plan if I already pay for an LLM API key?
No. The free plan works with any API key. The Pro plan adds Dino-specific features like branching, multiple tabs, and attachments — it doesn’t include LLM access.
Can I use Dino for free with a coding plan?
Yes. If you have a flat-rate coding plan from a provider (e.g., MiniMax, Z.ai, Moonshot), you can use Dino’s free tier and code all day for the cost of that plan alone — typically $18–20/month.
Is there a usage limit on the free plan?
The free plan has a soft daily usage limit. When you approach the limit, a banner appears in the chat. This resets every day.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Plan & Billing tab. When you cancel Pro, you revert to the Free plan at the end of your billing period.
How do multiple tabs work?
On the Pro plan, you can open as many Dino tabs as you want (Cmd+Shift+D). Each tab has its own isolated conversation and staging layer, so multiple tabs can work on the same codebase without conflicts.
